Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) lets you convert real-world skills and experience into a formal qualification — without repeating training you've already done.
Start the process →RPL is a process that looks at what you already know and can do — from work experience, previous study, volunteer roles, or life experience — and maps it against the requirements of your qualification. If you can demonstrate the competencies through current evidence you may not be required to complete the full learning however you will still need to complete an assessment that meets the requirements of the unit of competency. So in short it is Recognition of Prior Learning but not a Recognition of Assessment or an automatic qualification. Assessment still needs to be carried out through this process and if there are gaps identified then the gap training must be completed also.
Years of hands-on work in real estate, property management, or a related field.
Certificates, licences, or completed training that overlaps with your target qualification.
Skills gained through self-study, mentoring, or running your own property business.
Ability to show — through evidence — that you can meet the unit competencies.
Our process is straightforward, transparent, and handled by credentialled assessors.

Interview with a qualified assessor (by phone or video chat) to map your experience.
Upload your supporting evidence via the online platform, RPL Assess.

These are the national VET standards applied consistently by our assessors to ensure fairness and rigour.

Get in touch todayLegitimate RPL always involves a real assessment of your skills and experience. Be cautious of providers who cut corners — your qualification is only as credible as the process behind it and ASQA can and will revoke your qualification if it is found to be illegitimate.
Promises like "Certificate in 2 weeks" are a red flag. RPL takes the time it takes to properly assess your evidence. The Learning Team will never make false promises on what you can achieve.
Any qualification must be issued by a registered training organisation. If the provider won't tell you who's issuing it, walk away. The Learning Team is a Registered Training Organisation and issues all qualifications on scope.
Dealing only through WhatsApp or WeChat is unusual for a legitimate provider — expect email, phone, or a proper enrolment system. The Learning Team uses an online enrolmnet process in line with RTO Standards 2025.
Skipping a proper assessment and asking only for your resume and ID is not RPL — it's issuing qualifications without evidence. The Learning Team has a rigourous assessment process in line with RTO Standards 2025.
Hands-on training conducted in residential homes or other non-compliant venues is a warning sign of a non-legitimate provider. The Learning Team uses online video calls for assessment.
