Who Should Enrol?
This course is for registered real estate salespersons and associates who are ready to take the next step in their career.
You Hold a Sales Registration
You currently hold a Queensland real estate sales registration (Registration Certificate) issued by the Office of Fair Trading and are working or have worked in the industry under a licensed agent's supervision.
You've Already Completed Units
You have previously completed units from the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice — most likely through your Sales Associate registration — and can provide evidence of those completions for Credit Transfer.
You Want Your Full Licence
You're ready to upgrade to a full real estate agent licence with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading — giving you the ability to work independently, open your own agency, manage trust accounts, and supervise other agents.

What You'll Need to Bring
To enrol in the Upgrade Course, students must hold the following units of competency and provide evidence for Credit Transfer. These units form the foundation of the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and are typically completed via the Sales Associate registration course.
Evidence Required at Enrolment
You must provide official documentation confirming completion of all 12 units listed above — such as a Statement of Attainment from your previous RTO — before Credit Transfer can be applied and your enrolment confirmed. Upgrade Course Units
The Upgrade Course covers 7 units of competency. Combined with your 12 existing credit transfer units, you will meet the full requirements of the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and includes the additional unit of competency required to be eligible to apply for your full real estate agent licence with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading.
Student Selection & Pre-Enrolment

Pre-Enrolment Questionnaire
Every student completes a short pre-enrolment questionnaire so we can identify any support needs early and set you up for success. It covers:

- ✦Access to email, internet, and basic computer skills
Language, Literacy & Numeracy
The Learning Team recognises that not all students have the same level of ability in reading, writing, and calculations. Where LLN may be a concern, students will be offered an LLN Assessment aligned with the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), covering:

Course Structure & Weekly Breakdown
The Upgrade Course is delivered over 4 months — 14 weeks of training, study and assessment plus scheduled breaks. It's designed to fit around your working life as an active real estate professional.
Work through learner resources, readings and research in your own time via The Learning Team's online platform. Study whenever suits your schedule.
Connect with your trainer via the online platform through recorded tutorials and live sessions. Get real-world context from an active Queensland real estate professional.
Written questions completed online independently through the student portal. Open book assessments designed to confirm your knowledge of each unit.
Real-world tasks completed in your own time — drafting contracts, preparing transfer documents, conducting title searches, role plays, and problem-solving scenarios.

CPP Property Services Training Package — available to all students and trainers.

Students currently in Australia on a student visa are not eligible to enrol in this program.
Students will normally be employed in a suitable real estate environment during this program.

Student Visa Alert — Students who are currently in Australia on a student visa may not enrol in this program.
Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to real estate practices in all states and territories. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm those requirements.
Successful completion of CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice is part of the licensing requirement in Queensland.
