You Hold a Sales Registration or Full Licence
You currently hold a Queensland real estate sales registration or full real estate agent licence and want to add buyer's agency to your professional skillset — allowing you to act exclusively in the interests of property buyers.
You're Completing the Sales Associate Course or Cert IV Course
You are currently enrolled in or have completed The Learning Team's Sales Associate course and want to add the Buyer's Agent Skill Set units to broaden your career options from day one.
You Want to Specialise as a Buyer's Agent
You want to build a career representing buyers — sourcing properties, conducting due diligence, and negotiating on their behalf. Buyer's agency is one of the fastest growing specialist roles in Queensland real estate.
If you have already completed CPPREP4101 Appraise property for sale or lease through a previous course with The Learning Team, you may be eligible for a credit transfer — reducing your course to 3 units. Contact us at info@tlt.net.au before enrolling to confirm your eligibility.
Buyer's Agent Units
The CPPSS00069 Buyer's Agent Skill Set covers 4 units of competency — or 3 units if you are eligible for a credit transfer on CPPREP4101. All units are nationally recognised under the CPP Property Services Training Package.
Course Structure & Weekly Breakdown
The Buyer's Agent Skill Set is delivered over 2 months. It's a focused, practical program designed to get you working as a buyer's agent as quickly as possible.
Work through learner resources, readings and research in your own time via The Learning Team's online platform. Study whenever suits your schedule.
Connect with your trainer every Tuesday via The Learning Team's online platform. Ask questions, work through concepts, and get practical guidance from an active Queensland buyer's agent.
Written questions completed online independently through the student portal. Open book assessments designed to confirm your knowledge of each unit.
Real-world tasks completed in your own time — drafting contracts, preparing transfer documents, conducting title searches, role plays, and buyer negotiation scenarios.
Important — Student Visa & Employment
Students currently in Australia on a student visa are not eligible to enrol in this program. Students will normally be employed in a suitable real estate environment during their studies. Each unit runs over two weeks — treat this as your deadline for completing the study phase before assessment.
